Marie had a classical training in singing (soprano) and dance, in France graduating from the Conservatoire National Superieur de Paris (where she won first prize in 1991) and in drama trained at the prestigious ‘Florent’ Academy in Paris. In London she was coached by Patsy Rodenburg (Royal National Theatre).
